Participating Remotely

The Australian Government is committed to engaging with all Australians and one of those ways is to use Web 2.0 tools and platforms.

The Realising Our Broadband Future forum has been designed to do just that.

The plenary sessions of the forum will be webcast live and the workshop sessions will be audio streamed ensuring you will be an important part of the conversation, wherever you are.

For more information about participating remotely please visit Senator Kate Lundy's website.

Twitter

We have created a twitter hash tag - #bbfuture - so you can connect with others and share ideas.

Open to Your Ideas

'Open to Your Ideas' is the online tool to suggest ideas and questions for discussion in the forum streams.

Ideas can be provided within each of the five discussion streams: Smart Infrastructure, Digital Education, e-Communities, e-Health and e-Business.

Wiki

The Wiki will aggregate the ideas from the 'Open to Your Ideas' platform and will be the main place to share ideas throughout the forum. The Wiki will operate with separate sections for each of the five streams and will also have links to audio of the stream sessions.

You Tube

You can link a You Tube video comment or a video response in the Open to Your Ideas tool or during the forum in our Wiki.

Remote Participation Events

You will also be able to participate in remote events. The events will be closely watched as a part of the broader national consultation. For more information about the events visit http://bbf.civictec.net/
